Are you afraid of success or afraid of failure? Are you afraid of what other might think? Are you afraid of criticism? Do you feel like if you really step out of your comfort zone you would be an imposter? Now, I am not a spammer so don’t worry, I have no plans on starting any email campaigns that just add more toxic email to your inbox. This month is the first month of really buckling down and dedicating time to this blog. Earnings this month: $0 I did add a Jetpack on the urging of a friend of mine that has 20,000 visitors! She swears by it for the ease of use and I think I believe her. I added jetpack on March 21 and I HAVE 48 VIEWS! Wow, I am so excited! I Purchased An Affiliate Marketing Kit Thingy So, I purchased an Affiliate Marketing Kit. This kit is called 1 2 3 One Hour Affiliate. Anyway, it is pretty interesting. The instructions state to create a blogger site that you connect to Amazon using your Amazon affiliate account and create a targeted gift site that targets a specific group such as teens, or knitters or hunters. I’m giving it a try and so far I have created a blogger site called GiftStoreForTeens.blogspot.com. I’m hoping it will get some traffic and I will have it built up by the time people start shopping this year. I’ll be sharing the results of this experiment. Finding a niche is a huge challenge and I have had a problem with it since day one that I started Work at Home Boomer, my challenge has been trying to figure out how to help you. We have all heard the saying, “content is king” but has anyone ever really taken a good hard look at the content on the internet? In this article I decided to do my own study of internet content. My hope if to provide you with my findings. In my personal experience when I want to learn something fast I usually go looking for video content. When I want to learn something leisurely I look for audio content that I can listen to in my car while driving about in daily activities.
